We believe that God calls every Christian to grow in their faith and be connected to their church family. Through these educational opportunities, we encourage and equip people to be transformed as they are challenged to learn more about Christ, experience God’s presence and serve as faithful disciples. We offer many opportunities all ages and stages of life.

Mission Statement: Our education mission at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church is to provide the best guidance and instruction in the word of God for children and adults, thereby enabling Christian growth.

On the first Sunday of each month, this group does Bible Journaling.  Any journal or notebook can be used, and small journals are available for new participants. Journaling supplies are provided.  Contact Louise or Jennifer Ridlon with questions.

Brown Bag Bible Study:  Tuesdays, 10:00am-12:00pm, Room 201, 2nd floor of Worship Center

Every Tuesday, a lively group of women meet to study God's word and fellowship.  We have just begun a new study, "Death and Resurrection of the Messiah." Each week we are led on a video journey through the Holy Land by Ray Vander Laan, who brings scripture to life by describing the culture and customs of the times during which the scriptures were written.  The video is followed by discussion, and we end the morning with Communion.

Missions undertaken by the group include making Blessing Bags for the homeless, greeting card minisry for those in need of prayer and support, and a cookie ministry to assist the Feed the Need Ministry in the Stoney Point neighborhood.  We also make occasional field trips to the movie theater to see films that are inspirational.

If you are looking for a group to join, and wish to learn more about God's word, contact Roberta Laundy.

We also have snacks!
