The organized unit of United Methodist Women
shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and
to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to
develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand
concepts of mission through participation in the global
ministries of the church.
The meetings of the Cedar Creek Women are
continuing to be busy with various projects. The circles
are small, but we try to have projects of interest for everyone.
General Meeting
Women's Fellowship, Sunday, March 30, 2008 3:00 - 5:00
pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please come, UMW General
Meeting. Program: installation of officers, refreshments
and fellowship and "What Can I Do in the Church?"
Representatives of committees and planned events will be present
to fill us in on the plans for this year!!
PLEASE COME!!! You do not have to be a member to attend!!!
AM Disciple Circle
Meets the 1st Monday morning each month at 9:00 am in
the Conference Room. A light continental breakfast is
provided. We are currently studying women in the bible.
We finished one banner and are working on a second for the
Sanctuary.
PM Circle
Meets the 4th Monday evening each month at 7:00 pm in
the Fellowship Hall. A light supper is provided. We
are currently working on baby blankets for area hospitals.
A plant sale is scheduled Saturday, March 29th, to run
concurrently with the Manna Food project. Plant donations
are welcome.
