Current & Upcoming Studies

  • Women's Sunday Bible Study:  For women of all ages, a new Sunday bible class will start on February 19th at 10:15am.  This group is for women of all ages.  For more information, call Debra Goodwin at 636-3517 or you can email her at dcgoodwin@austin.rr.com

  • How to be Happier 7 Days a Week:  Mark & Karen Gardner will host a new Sunday school class starting February 19th.  The class is titled "Every Day a Friday:  How to be Happier 7 Days a Week" by Joel Olsteen, and will run for 8 weeks.

  • The Brown Bag Group- Heaven is for Real!  The Brown Bag Group begins a bible study based on the book "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo.  Group meets Thuesdays from 10am untli noon in Room 201 upstairs.  Contact Roberta Laundy to reserve a copy of the book or study guide.  We always have plenty of seats available for newcomers!  If you are interested in this new study, contact Roberta Laundy to reserve your  book.  She can be reached at 247-5545 or bertlaundy@earthlink.net.

  • Guys Only Bible Study:  Meets every Tuesday evening from 6:45pm to 7:45pm in the Conference Room.  No books or homework; just lots of lively discussion.  Topic for Jan 24th:  What or Who is the Holy Spirit?  What's it got to do with me?  Previous topics include:  If God is a god of love, why is there suffering?  Does God lead people to temptation?  If God knows everything that is going to happen , do we really have free will?

  • Financial Peace University:  A preview class will be held on January 25th at 6:30pm in Room 201.  Class sessions begin February 1st at 6:30pm.  Please contact Robert Jones or Brian Telle for more information.
