Cedar Creek United Methodist Church continues to provide a low cost, high quality food co-op ministry to members of our Church as well as the surrounding community. For those not familiar with Angel Food Ministries, please keep reading.

First of all, the Angel Food Ministries program is available to anyone wishing to save money on groceries. There are many packages available ranging between $17 and $55.  If purchased at a local grocery store these items would cost considerably more. The menu changes each month as do the specials. For example, a special could be a box of eight 10-oz rib eye steaks for a cost of about $26, or an After School Fruit & Veggie Box for $25.

With a heart to help others and a generous spirit, Angel Food Ministries was founded in 1994 by Joe and Linda Wingo, to provide food for friends and neighbors who were struggling financially.  Today, the Angel Food program is now helping provide food relief to more than 500,000 families each month.

Our order deadline falls around the middle of each month.  We then compile all of our orders and call in that order to Angel Food Ministries. Typically on the last Saturday of the month, the refrigerated truck arrives at CCUMC around 930am at our fellowship hall. Our team members unload the truck and set up the distribution center. We do all this as a Ministry to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! He is our Guide in all we do.

We have identified many families in our community who may not be as fortunate as others. We are blessed to have many members of our Body of Christ give pure monetary donations to supply food units to needy families around us. I cannot thank all of our volunteers enough!!! Without them we could not provide this vital ministry. I invite everyone to come see us in action on one of our distribution days. Maybe even help us!!!

The current month's menu as well as an order form will always be on this Website. Menus and order forms are also available in our Church foyer and at the Child Care Center.
